My fiance and I have enjoyed this game. It made a great change of pace from other card/board games we played. It’s easy to learn, and there is a good bit of strategy. I will note that you have to work on compromise with this game, which is a good thing to practice.

This is a game I enjoyed as a child and as an adult I still to rate it as one of my favorites. My parents continued to use their old set until the cards became so brittle from old age they were afraid we’d destroy them. We searched for many years for a new set but were unable to find the game anywhere. As a last resort and in a desperate attempt to preserve this valued family game, my mother actually laminated each card so that we could continue to use them. My children have come to love it as much as I do.
The beauty of the game is that it is simple enough for younger players but yet challenging for an adult. In fact, my children often beat me! I think I’ve checked all possible moves and I lay my card down on my discard pile, I get “flinched” and I get the penalty of having to add that player’s discard pile on top of my own! This adds excitement to the game – just when you think you’re winning because your cards are about gone you get flinched and suddenly someone else may be the winner.

Needless to change we are THRILLED to see the game is back on the market (or at least we’ve finally found it). I’ve ordered several to give this Christmas. I can’t wait to see the surprised look on my mother’s face when she opens this gift!
