I heard a lot of bad things about the Construction Devastator picture when it first came out, about a crazy price tag and no robot mode, but it was one I was looking forward to most. I thought I would find him and see for myself how it looked bad and if I did not like that I would not buy it. So I was at Toys R Us the other day and found the latter on the plate and the Devastator had not looked so bad for me … that the price tag does haha. While it is not as big as I expected (rumors that he would be at least 2 feet high, but it is a little over 1 foot), its still very impressive to watch. When you open the box, all constructicons are already processed in the limbs but are not connected and also some parts as Scavengers Scoop ‘and the truck Mixmasters, but all are easily connected. As in the movie Devastator is very top heavy and must be places in a hunchback or a four-legged pose. He activated the push button and Vortex Similer the film, and his head extends an inch or two five good and you can customize the captions and scout class figures in there. The box indicates that the transformation which for him is a 4 and I really think that the HES was easier to transform, all processors RotF! Pretty much its a turn here and pop in and move these return movements as you turn the Constructicons Vehicle mode. One thing I really did not like Mixmaster is never silent and there is no switch-off and when it is transformed into a vehicle with the slightest bump sends. They all look great except vehicle mode High Tower, as it is bright compared to the other two Constructicons yellow. Paint are minor details as they have none compared to the Voyager-class and deluxe Constructicons, but I figure I’ll paint it myself. So in all he is a figure worthy and the prize is not for everyone but if your a fan of the movie Devastator’ll like it.

First of all I want you to know that the review that what jayhawkeye2 wrote is rediculous and that you only do what the cards say. How do you get into a fight with such simple insructions? No, this game isn’t slow-moving or boaring or any of that nonsense. Its great for anyone who is learning numbers. My dad and I play it all the time; fun for all ages. My mom’s side of the family is really big and when we have reunions we always play and have a great time. Even my teenage cousins enjoy this game with the whole family. A GREAT classic! TOTALY WORTH THE MONEY!!!!! IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE IT 10 THUMBS UP AND 1000000000 STARS!

My husband and I play this game with our 4-year-old twins (a boy and a girl). Before buying this game, we were actually considering buying some of those “non-competitive” games. You know, the ones where you work together to defeat a common enemy? My kids were having a lot of trouble with the concept of losing. I was a bit worried that this game would exacerbate that. However, we found that they actually LOVE this game. We instituted some rules, such as all players must shake hands at the end of every game and say “good game,” and other rules enforcing good sportsmanship (e.g. no gloating or teasing). After just a little while of enforcing these rules, they have become second nature and now our kids are free to enjoy any game without feeling devastated if they get bumped back to start or don’t win. They know there is always a next time. They really enjoy this game and ask for it often.

If you’re into Scrabble and you want to play on the road (or the beach, or at the pool, etc.), get the travel version of the game. Inelegantly titled “Scrabble Game Folio,” the item is much better than it sounds. It’s Scrabble, just a little smaller, and easier to take with you. Plus, the tiles snap onto the board, so they won’t move around if the board moves (say, while you lean over to reach for your pina colada).

I got this as a supplement to my full size version of Scrabble because it was on sale and had free shipping. I was worried that it might just be an exact replica on a smaller scale, but I must say that in many ways it puts the larger version to shame.
First off, the letter lock into the board, which might not seem like a big deal, but definitely makes it “travel” worthy on a whole new level.
The components are all of excellent quality and the entire game is very durable. The zip-up case it comes in is a bonus as well.
Most importantly, I was very impressed with the way that every component snaps into place, allowing for truly excellent economy of space when folded away. The letter trays all snap into place on the back of the board before folding it in half, which really makes it easy to open later. At the right price (under $10) I would say that this is a great addition to the game collection.

This game is one of FUNnest games that I’ve played. The concept of the game is pretty simple and makes it easy for any beginner to get going from game one. You need to be really witty and creative to come up with non-duplicate items. And boy the 3 minutes does go by pretty fast. The game comes with a timer and the influence of the timer is probably under rated. The ticking sound that the timer makes adds to the excitement of the game (especially when ticking goes faster and faster towards the end). If you like to play games and have a nice set of friends, please pick this up. Great game!

The game is a blast! To play with larger crowds I photo copy the answer sheets and lists, seperate them into bundles, and the extra people get to play along. This works better than teams in my opinion. Also per round I have people circle each “correct” answer then tally up winner for round and give winner a bingo chip. Person with most chips after the 12 lists winds the gaame! No more annoying paper scoring.
One thing is, you better decide on a system for veto-ing answers. I use a simple hand raise vote. I am a big fan of the “creative” answer but some people just are not. If there is a question of an answer being valid just have all those in favor raise there hands.
Great game, great fun. Needs expansion packs!

I played this game today and it was so fun my friend had a baby so many times that every single extra new baby she had endded up walking she also said that if the game let’s her have one more baby she would make her own car. This game is very fun and it would teach a leson or two. It’s like such an big event once you get married and an even bigger event when you have your first babies. This game would be perfect for anybody especially if you would want to play a game with your friends about the real world.

You know what? I really LIKE the redesigned game. We played this game with friends yesterday, my first time since childhood, and it was a lot of fun, even though I am in my 50’s now. The only thing that annoyed me is that the pegs that you put in the mini-vans fall out EVERY time you move your car. It is a pain when on EVERY move a person has to stop and put EVERY peg back in the stupid mini-van. What a shoddy design! You would think they would have tested that before they marketed it. I would much rather have the original cool vehicles that could hold their passengers. I had read about this complaint in reviews of the revised game before, but it wasn’t until I actually experienced it that I realized how frustrating it is. Since the revised game is so much fun, you’d think they would have fixed this by now.

My wife and our friends have been huge Scrabble fans from way back. We were playing a lot of the Scrabble beta app on Facebook, but were getting tired of all the bugs. Plus, a good old-fashioned face to face game can’t be beat. This set hasn’t changed a bit from the version I played as a kid. This is the no frills version: the board doesn’t revolve lazy Susan style and the tile bag is just made of plastic. Other than that, the game materials are high quality. As for game play, if you happen to be that rare person who has never played Scrabble, it is a classic board game and a ton of fun. And yes, it is educational and encourages literacy.

I just love this game…I learned to play the summer the vacation when I was nine years old (I’m 28 now) and I have never stopped. It’s fun its educational and I’m now using it to teach my three year old her alphabet and some simple words. This game is suitable for any age. I plan to play until I die. I only wish you could play with more than four people maybe it’s time for the makers of Scrabble to look at that giant scrabble for large parties…I’ve been to many scrabble parties in my time but the biggest comment is that we’d all like to play at the same time on the same board.

This is a great children’s board game and lots of family fun! I must confess, we “bend” the rules a little when only two of us are playing…..! This way we get to play “lots” more games!
This board game helps with finger dexterity plus it a great beginner counting game. In addition, it teaches patience. I reccoment this game to parents with children 3 and above.
The design of the game board itself could be improved, needs to be sturdier. The plastic bubble that holds the dice is very sturdy.

I had a blast playing this game with a four-year-old child. It was great to teach her the rules and watch her count carefully as she moved her little pegs from space to space. Granted this game is for 5 years old and up, we did have a great time. I agree with the recommended age range, but if you are patient, many 4 year old children will enjoy this throroughly. The only thing I was questioning was the sturdiness of the popper. We were sitting on the carpet playing the game. That may have been the problem. I would recommend placing the gameboard on a flat surface, such as a kitchen table or coffee table, to make it easier to pop the popper. Between 5 to 8 years old is probably a good age range for this game.

Although my 3 year old grandson knows his shapes and colors, he was not tall or long enough to reach the spots. He adapted the game so that he was in charge of the spinner and his parents did the “twisting”. He was thouroughly entertained and felt powerful in getting his parents into a twist. As he grows he will be all the more eager to play the game according to the real rules.

This is a game that has been around for a lot of years that can get a good belly laugh from any age group young or old. This is a wonderful game to pull out on unsuspecting guests! Ha Ha HA!! It is even more hilarious to play after you have conned the reluctant player into participating. It is a great way for even the stiffest of the stiffs to learn to laugh at themselves in a healthy way that will leave them with funnybone memories for years to come. I love it when the adults play this with the kids because it lets the kids see that adults don’t always have to be prim and proper and that they love to have fun too. When it gets clumsy is the best time because you really are able to bond with others when you see them unable to keep an impossible reach and learn that nobody is perfect and that is what is great about everyone as an individual.
