I bought this fire escape ladder for my son who is living on the third story of a fraternity house. All the guys sleep in their rooms and after I looked out his window and thought about how he would get out if an emergency arose, I went home and ordered the ladder immediately. This is a one-time ladder and I hope no one will ever have to use it! I was updated about the delivery date and it did arrive on the date noted.
