Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor Reviews
I just bought this juicer from Amazon and I can make a liter of juice in about a minute. The large chute means I can toss everything in whole and with the 1000 Watt motor this can juice a bag of carrots, several apples and an entire stalk of lettuce put in whole in seconds with the shredder spinning at 13,000 rpm. I bought this for home and it would be fantastic for a health food restaurant of juice bar. For the fantastic quality and rugged construction you are get far more for your money than any other juicer on the market. It’s worth a lot more than I paid for it and this juicer deserves more than 5 stars (far far superior to my top of the line all stainless ACME juicer). I make juice every morning and there is nothing so easy and fast to use.
I recently purchased the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer and had to return it after just three days of use because the motor died. Needless to say, I was quite unimpressed with its quality and performance. Previously owning a Champion, which did a good job, it was time-consuming to clean and a little on the `pulpy’ side; it also had a small feed shoot. Because of comparisons and current use of the Breville 800JEXL, I now realize that I made an excellent choice in buying the Breville.
I accidentally stumbled across this juicer via Amazon.com and decided to buy it based upon the positive reviews everywhere I looked. (I honestly have not and cannot think of anything negative to say…from me or anyone else.) I just got my Breville 800JEXL and absolutely, positively love it.
This thing is built extremely solid and the outer shell is constructed of die-cast aluminum and zinc; it also looks like an appliance and is very appealing to the eyes. I cannot say enough about it as far as quality and design goes.
With an extra wide feed chute and powerful two-speed motor, this thing is extremely efficient. Also, most importantly, this thing totally pulverizes fruits and vegetables with its titanium-plated blade very, very quickly with an almost creamy taste to the juice. The quality is as good if not better than that from juice bars!
Being very easy and not time-consuming to clean, the extra-wide top (3″ in diameter) is also a great feature along with “a safety device which safeguards against overheating with excessive loads”.
Having owned a Champion and briefly, the Jack Lalanne Power Juicer, I have to say that this one blows them both away in everything I can think of. Get the “Juice Fountain Elite”, and you absolutely will not be disappointed. (I do not work for Breville; I am just extremely impressed!)
I read review after review in searching for a juicer (Santa’s Christmas present to me). I am new to juicing so it was really the only thing I had to go by. I have been using my juicer for about a month now and I absolutely love it! I can’t imagine it being any easier to use. I don’t much like peeling oranges before I can juice them whole. I keep wondering if a citrus juicer would be better for oranges. Either way, I still love my Breville. Even if I invest in another small citrus juicer I won’t feel disappointed with this one. It’s quiet, it’s fast, and cleanup is simple and fast. There are only four pieces that you have to wash out when you’re finished juicing, five if you don’t use a plastic baggie in the pulp container. The juice is fantasic. I was a little wary of how it might taste because my mom bought a juicer a few years ago and the juice it produced was awful. Also, if you are like me and you don’t care for pulp in your oj or any other juice then this juicer is the one for you. There is almost NO pulp in any kind of juice that I make. What little bit of texture that is there (depending on what kind of juice you make) is hardly noticeable. My 7 yo. also loves all of the juices that I make, which speaks volumes if you have kids. Anyway, we could neither one be happier with this juicer and I’m glad I spent the money on this one because it was worth every penny. I contemplated getting a less expensive one since I was new to juicing but eventually concluded that spending $300 and loving my juicer was better than spending $150 on one and being disappointed – I made the right choice. Delivery was very fast from Amazon.
