My daughter wanted a dollhouse for Christmas. And she wanted Dora stuff (she’s really into Dora the Explorer.) When she saw the Dora dollhouse at the store, all my wife and I heard was “I want it, I want it.” We were planning to get this for her already. So once it got the “seal of approval”, we bought it. She plays with it every day. If you get the room sets for the house, you can plug in the different things such as the lamps or clocks that light up or make sound (much cooler than the toys I grew up with). It’s plastic so it’ll be easy to keep clean (with three year olds, that’s always a consideration). Plus it’s not $100-$200 like a lot of the regular dollhouses we saw.

This dollhouse is wonderful! The versatality of the house itself makes it fit in many spaces. The sounds and lights are a definite bonus. We leave ours open along a wall so our twins can both play with multiple rooms at a time. The dollhouse itself only comes with Dora, a light, and a couch. However, there are many reasonably priced accessories available for purchase that really complete the house. For the record the house has 8 rooms and only 7 furniture accessory packs are sold. Even with just 7 sets you have tons of furniture to complete the house. There are also 5 action figure sets available or you can use some of your other Dora action figures. Overall a great investment and Amazon has the BEST price!
