This dollhouse was a hit for Christmas. My daughter, who’s 8, loved seeing a huge package under the tree and wondered all the way up until Christmas what it was. She had a ball putting it together with my husband which seemed quite simple. She loves the playing piano and light fixtures that really light up. It’s huge! It’s taller than her. The colors are vibrant and funky. She absolutely loves it to play with her Bratz, Webkinz, and My Little Pet Shop animals. All in all it’s created another opportunity for her to use her imagination without being on the computer or playing video games. As a parent I love that!
My 4-year-old daughter LOVES this dollhouse…and so do I. It’s taller than her, bright and colorful, plus it’s contructed very well…nice and solid. The furniture that comes with it is all wood…very durable, unlike a lot of little plastic pieces you get with other dollhouses and playsets. The size fits her Barbie dolls perfectly. Well worth the price!
This was a Christmas present for my 7 year old granddaughter. Assembly instructions were easy but was best when done by 2 adults, took about 2 hours. Granddaughter was so excited she was trying to put in furniture while we were still assembling.
I chose this dollhouse for my daughter because I wanted a large one that she could use with her barbie and bratz dolls. I was so happy when I got it put together (took about 1 1/2 hrs) because it is so colorful and big. She saw it Christmas morning and her face lit up. Her brother has also played with her with it with his superhero dolls. It is great for imaginative play!
I was impressed with this item. I was able to put it together easily. The furniture is wooden and really seems to be made well. Low price too (~125) for having the furniture included. My kids play with their Barbie Dolls in it. Retro look is neat too.
This is a wonderful dollhouse ~ it goes together easily, has fabulous furniture that goes in it, and my[...] old daughters are just thrilled!! One of the chandeliers does not work, but all else is great~ love it!!
This is a wonderful dollhouse – it is very big, has lots of space and is incredibly vibrant. It is scaled for barbie dolls, but my daughter has mostly used it for her Fisher Price Loving Family dolls and furniture because it has so much room to spread everything out! Groovy Girls also fit. Make sure you measure the intended space before you order because the size might startle you. It was a breeze to put together and I can see it lasting for quite a while.
This dollhouse is AWESOME!!!! I work with special needs children at the elementary age. This was specifically purchased for two 8 year old kids with Down Syndrome. Interactive play is so important to learn and we had the old standard all wood, no personality dollhouse. I found this and thought it would be great. It was far beyond my expectations. I was most impressed with the size, it is over 4 feet tall and about 3 wide. I’m not sure of the exact measurements but it’s big. The effects of the furniture are great too. All around I love this house, I really wish I had had this when I was a kid, and having it at a school where many kids of all needs will get to play with this house. For the price is a terrific buy.
I got this for my 6 year old daughter for Christmas. She loves it so much. It’s taller than she is and she is about almost 4 feet. Putting it together was also easy. The instructions were right to the point and very simple to understand. I’m a person who doesn’t know anything about screws or building things. I would recommend this to children ages 4 and up. Your child will grow and still love it. It’s perfect for the barbie dolls.
