I bought this basketball hoop for my son’s 5th birthday and enjoyed every day. Since I had never put a set and my neighbor put a pair together, I asked for his help. He and I put together in less than 2 hours. We follwed the directions and had no problems. Since we live in the north-east and the circle will be used throughout the year, I bought dry sand to fill the base. Filling holes in the base could be designed much better, but otherwise the project was not difficult. This circle is a big hit with my son and his friends. The quality seems very good and I think that will serve our needs for some years. I watched many circles, and the price, free shipping and delivery to my house really closed the deal for me. A circle more expensive, would not have made my son happier. I like Shooting Hoops with him!

This life 1221 Portable Basketball System is excellent for young children. Within a few days to order from Amazon. Not being a great do-it-yourself, I made sure I got everything I need before attempting to mount the system: it has bought several bags of sand, that I had all the instruments as instructed; controlled to ensure that all parties were included as listed.
As mentioned in other reviews, the most difficult part was attaching the rim to the backboard to the pole all at once. Took me and my wife and two children to get through it, but we have done through the sweat and tears (it was hot that day!). Be sure to tighten the circle until first attaching the backboard to the pole, we forgot and had to make all our hard-work before completing the last steps. We have filled with sand rather than water for the system is more stable and secure.
Not really for dunking believe (but I have not really tried), and the board does not provide great leap, but really, nobody should complain about these minor elements for this price. This is my first purchase of a “life” of the product, and I was impressed by his good qualities, including instructions for installation.
